With heavy support from Vrooom, and this time at lovely Roodkapje Rot(t)terdam, Pantropical is proud to present the first ever concert of this magnificent trio from Colombia on Dutch soil.
LOS PIRAÑAS features the holy trinity of Colombian tropical music innovators: Eblis Álvarez (MERIDIAN BROTHERS), Mario Galeano (FRENTE CUMBIERO, ONDATROPICA) and Pedro Ojeda (ROMPERAYO). Imagine a lysergic encounter among Andres Landero’s cumbia, Konono ́s distorted trance, surf, tropical afrobeat and out of control computer noise. This is the Southamerican psychedelic sound of the XXI Century: LOS PIRAÑAS!
